Mission: Episode 3 - Winds of Change
Location: New Bajor

Anna had returned to the planet to take in a few hours of R&R, the marine contingent aboard was coming together nicely, but they were still short handed. She expected as much and but she was confident the men would be ready when needed. She was started to get board, wandering one of the small markets, most of the planets inhabitants were Bajoran and while there was a few interesting pieces amongst the small stalls nothing worth of purchase. Rounding the end of an aisle she stopped in her tracks. Her eyes falling on a tall, well build man, his dark brown hair showing the tinniest flecks of grey at the temples. He was haggling over the price of a small carpet. Finally agreeing on a price the man shook the elderly Bajoran who was selling it's hand and handed over the payment. He turned and his eyes fell on Anna, his smile froze for a moment before growing as he closed the distance between.

"Off all the markets on all the colonies I find you here." He said.

It wasn't often that Usmanova was left without a response, but she merely smiled a moment, leaned in and kissed him. The kiss was soft, unsure and lingering, the man returning it on par before breaking it. Both in uniform it was exactly good form. Breaking apart her eyes feel to the three solid pips on his collar, one more than last time she saw him. "Commander, someone's been promoted." She said.

He laughed slightly, "Yes well, it's pretty recently, very recently actually, about two weeks. They made me XO on the USS Windsor" he said.

"Well at this rate you'll hit Captain soon." She replied.

"Ya, only a few more people need to die between me and a big chair." He said, it was a slightly morbid truth lately.

"Well congratulations, I guess this means you're buying me a drink." She replied, turning and leading him towards a bar she'd seen not far from here.

"Like you'd have it any other way." He said with a laugh as he followed behind her.
