Mission: Episode 1B - Welcome Aboard Reboot
Location: Ship Deck
Timeline: Day 1 - 1210

Andrew arrived at a turbo lift out of breath, Perspiration clung to his forward and he stopped to catch his breath. After he felt his lungs ease he glanced up, An engineer was crouched next to the turbo lift working away on a EPS conduit.

“Oh great how long until this is up and running”

The engineer looked up in frustration

“Long enough for you to not bother waiting”

Andrew made a detestable noise of frustration and began looking about him. He was about to speak again when his eyes caught onto the Jeffery’s tube.

“Well my CO will have me on my knees anyway when I turn up late”

Andrew opened the Jeffry’s tube and slickly slid into the network. Picking up pace he soon came upon the access to the other levels and began descending towards the level he required, After progressing across a multitude of levels he finally came upon the level he needed and began crawling forward to the exit. With a last push of effort Andrew heaved himself out of the tube and stood again panting to catch his breath once more.

“I have a new appreciation for turbo lift's” Andrew muttered to himself before again embarking on his futile quest to get within his destination in a reasonable time.

Andrew got to the Mess hall exactly on 1300 and looked surprised. It seemed that others were just turning up, Andrew caught the smile of the cadet he had spoken to before the ship and he knew he had been fooled.

“You jerk, you had me worked up” Andrew said looking cross

“I gave you an earlier time so you would turn up punctual for once” the cadet laughed continuing into the mess hall

Andrew sighed and shrugged, he was just glad his journey was behind him and walked into the mess hall contented.
