Larissa looked out the viewport as the stars zoomed by. It had been a long time since she felt the thrill of something new. Today she would start the next phase of her career. She was now going away from her Marine Intelligence days and would join the ranks of Marine command.

Sighing she turned away from the stars "Approximate ETA until we are there 2nd Lt"

The new Lt just kept looking at her. She thought he must not have known a female Marine before or not one on the trip to become a Marine CO. "Lt ETA until we arrive" she said in a harsher voice. Damn she hated new recruits they were always in awe and barely capable of anything until they had the newness rubbed off of them.

He stammered the answer "Sssssorry Sir. ETA is T - 2 hours"

Larissa shook her head. This would be a fun trip to the Unification.
