Mission: Episode 3 - Winds of Change
Location: USS Unification

Anna walked the corridors of the Unification finally finding her goal she buzzed the office of the Security Chief's door.

Roebuck was in his Office looking over a list of the new Security Personnel that would be soon coming aboard the ship. The majority of them were either fresh out of the Academy, only had a year or two of experience, or were NCOs fresh out of boot camp or with little experience. They were green, that was for sure...

After a few minutes, the door buzzer sounded, and Roebuck looked up from the PADD he’d been reading. “Enter.”

Captain Usmanova entered the office and gave the man across the desk a small nod. "Lieutenant Roebuck, I'm Captain Usmanova, the new Marine Detachment Commander." She said extending her hand.

Roebuck stood from his desk and extended his hand to shake Usmanova, "Lieutenant Jonathan Roebuck." Roebuck was a man of few words, but he did give a respectful nod to go along with the hand shake.

Once the two released each others hands, Roebuck motioned to one of the chairs on the opposite side of the desk, "What can I do for you Captain?"

"I just wanted to come meet with you before we get underway, from what I've read we may quite likely find ourselves in a combat situation rather quickly." She said, "I was also hoping that we can look into cross training our departments to allow them to work together more efficiently."

Roebuck nodded, “I think cross training would be a good idea. I can even speak to the Captain about some Bridge time for Marine Officers at Tactical, just in case. Has your detachment come aboard yet?”

"Yes, most of them are aboard, I hope the unit will grow slightly but with Fleet resources stretched as they are in the region." She said. "Tactical cross training would be supported as well, if the Captain approved of course."

“Of course.” Roebuck replied with a smirk. He just hoped his Security personnel would be aboard soon, he wanted to meet them, go over their Starfleet Records, etc...

“Let’s contact the Captain, both meet with him, and go over this idea with him.” Roebuck suggested. She nodded and rose to her feet.
