Lieutenant JG Jonathan Roebuck IV watched at the small Type-9 shuttle moved in close to the USS Unification. A small ship, relativity speaking, but Jon was eager to board her. He's never served aboard, or even stepped foot aboard a Diligent class vessel before, and he was hoping this really would be a fresh start for him.

He reached up to his neck and rubbing the Lieutenant JG pips for a moment, and for that moment he missed the Lieutenant Commander rank he once held. His thoughts started to drift back to eleven years ago and Starbase 99, but he quickly pushed thought thoughts and feels down deep again.

"Stand by the transport sir." The Petty Officer flying the shuttle said back to Jon.

Jon picked up his small satchel and placed the strap over his shoulder and across his chest, then picked up his duffel bag. Jon had packed light, just in case. One extra uniform and dress uniform, some civvies, and a few of his most prized possessions...a part of his weapons collection. He took a deep breath then stepped to the back of the shuttle's cockpit.

"Ready when you are."

The Petty Officer nodded, "Good luck sir, it's a mess over there. Energizing."

As Roebuck materialized on the Unification's transporter pad, he noticed the unit was offline. A one man Engineering repair team was working on the system, while a Vulcan Lieutenant walked up.

"Your orders." The Vulcan coldly said.

Roebuck reached into his satchel and pulled out a PADD, "Permission to come aboard."

The Vulcan didn't reply, he just calmly looked over the PADD before handing is back.

"Permission granted." The Vulcan finally said, "I'll show you to your Quarters, the Captain is eager to meet you."

Several minutes later, Roebuck stepped foot onto the Bridge of the Unification. His bags were safely locked away in the quarters and all he carried was his PADD with his orders. He looked around the Bridge for a moment. He was a little larger than a Defiant class Bridge...but not by much. Then again, he wasn't expecting a spacious Bridge like the USS Hera had, or like Starbase 99's Ops.

After taking a deep breath, Jon stepped confidently walked onto the Bridge and over to Commander Jacob Lambert.

"Captain, Lieutenant JG Jonathan Roebuck reporting for duty sir."
