Tea Time

Location: Messhall, USS Unification

Anna had returned to the Unification without incident, not that there really was cause for one, they were both adults after all. She smiled to herself recalling the previous nights events, but the Windsor had already deployed for a patrol and she didn't know when she'd even have the opportunity to see Chance again. Entering the messhall she stopped at the replicator and replicated a mug of tea. She'd finished the days training drills an hour ago and was already starting to get a little bored with the shoreleave. It was nice to relax, but she was getting bored.

She took the mug of tea an sat down at one of the tables her back to the windows she watched the crew present milling about for a moment before turning her attention to the PADD with the latest marksmanship scores. Two marines had failed, to meet minimum standards, and she'd ordered additional training drills for them, if they didn't pass baseline within 72 hours she'd authorized them to be transfered off the ship. Minimum standards, far below her own standards, was a non negotiable qualification, in her opinion if they couldn't maintain that they didn't belong in the Corps, she might not have the authority to boot them out but they certainly weren't remaining in her detachment. She skimmed through the PADD and made a few notes, shuffling the odd duty assignment and planning the next set of drills.
