Missing Time

Jessica walked back into her quarters after another hard day, working on repairs putting the little technical knowledge she had to good use. With a sigh she realised she still need to do some sort of log of the last few days.

So Jessica start with "Computer start personal log, title Unit Report and insert current star date"

Jessica starts pacing as she dictates to the computer. "At the time that Command Staff called the Officers Meeting I was working with a team in a jeffery tube."

Jessica paused her pacing for a second as she said " But unknown to us at the time the main comms system in that section had been damaged and the backup system was handling all traffic"

Jessica starts pacing again "We were currently trying to fix a link between the Main Computer and the current deck and for the decks below. We started by taking the backup systems off-line and started to do a physical inspection of all the back systems, we just start the back up system back up when I got the delayed message for the meeting."

With a sigh Jessica continued with "I quickly left the team, starting to take that sections main systems off-line and hurried up to the conference room. Only to find that I'd missed the meeting, It was well into gammer shift when I made it to the bridge. With that I made my way back to the team to continue repairs.

At the start of alpha shift I reported to the Captain to explain my absence at the meeting, he was understanding of the situation. I then got back to the team I'd left. It was almost the start of gammer shift before we finished, fixing the comms system in that section and fixing the link between the main computer and the other decks."
