Personality & Traits
| General Overview | Darzen Kail is a relaxed laid-back individual. He has a good sense of humor and is excellent at taking and giving back whatever is dished his way. This behavior sometimes leads to misunderstandings and insubordination problems when none are truly intended. But, Darzen has the utmost respect for his chain of command. The symbiont, Kail, is a grouchy old man, which doesn't help with the insubordination issues. Kail tends to forget that he's in a host. He is extremely picky about eating and sleeping schedules. Darzen often forgets to eat when he busy or engrossed in work and this can make Kail grouchy and even demanding and angry. The two are still working on unifying into one mind. The process can sometimes be slow. Darzen's laid-back personality helps to temper the more unpredictable and demanding symbiont. |

| Ambitions | Darzen's greatest dream is to be part of the Engineering Corps, at Federation Headquarters or he would like to teach engineering to young minds. He would like to eventually have his own lab where he could run some of his own experiments. | |
| Hobbies & Interests | Darzen's hobbies and interests mostly lay around Puzzles, of any kind. He will become obsessed until it is solved. This goes for Math, English and Science puzzles, including crosswords and wordfind, which he will actually play on a PADD. He especially likes things that put his speed to the test. |
| Personal History | 2263 - 2325 - Bodenn Kail received Kail Symbiont in 2287 2306 - 2352 - Tiedenn Kail received Kail Symbiont in 2325 2334 - 2386 - Henree Kail received Kail Symbiont in 2352 Darzen was born in 2363 in Mak'ala on Trill. His father was part of the Corps of Engineers on Trill and Darzen wished to follow in his footsteps from a very young age. His father died when Darzen was 14, along with his symbiont, in an explosion at the plant his father worked for. This was devastating to Darzen, but it was also a catalyst that pushed him in school and through the training and selection process of being a host at 16. When he was passed up for joining he decided the best thing for him to further his career was to attend Starfleet. So, at 18 he entered the Acadey. He was a hit with his professors, but flopped when it came to finding his own friends, he gained a bad reputation for setting the curve in all his classes, arguing mathematics with professors, and students his own age thought him just a little bit odd. Out of Academy he was assigned to the USS Persephone. He worked in the engineering department for almost a year before he was called back home to be joined. He was joined with the symbiont Kail in 2386, when the symbiont's 3rd host was injured in a plasma leak on the ship he served on. After he was joined he spent one year in training and acclimation to the symbiont |
