| Personal History | Calden was born into a family of security officers, who in all Generations lived and worked on Rutia IV. Kaien family was very loyal and obey the rule of the planets government for Centuries. When Calden was born his father and mother were helping the government fight resistant force, during one of his mother’s missions she was killed in a shuttlecraft that was sabotage by resistant forces, When Calden was a child he would think of his mother and how she was and his father was very telling of how she was a great women and how she saved him when things were going bad. Calden would get sick with rare disease that took, two years for him to fully recover from, but thanks to his doctor that study medicine on earth helped him recover faster then was recommended by doctors on rutia IV, Calden saw that healing others helped better then what his family was renowned for and wanted to become a doctor. So as a teenage he would assist doctors with small medical problem. his father was not supportive of Calden wanting to be a doctor and not a officer on rutia IV and the fact that he wanted to study at a Federation school was very angering to his father and when ever that subject ever came up the two would fight about how he should study at a school on rutia IV but Calden was not going to be stuck on this rock he left home stayed with the doctors he assisted.the many mentors he help got him to be accepted by the federation to study at their school on earth by age 18. Before calden left his grandfather came over to see him they talk about what he was going to do and about his father and mother. His grand father started to talk about his grandfather and what his grandfather gave him when his was about caldens age and he showed it to calden it was a old laser pistol from almost a hundred years ago. Caldens grandfather told him it was a family tradition to pass on usesful items even if it was old, they would say there good byes and calden left that day and would always remeber the day his grandfather made him proud to be part of his family. Calden’s years at in medical school were hard but studious he was ranked one of the lowest student s in his class by the end of the first year, by the next year he had caught up with everyone and ever was in the top ten percent of his class and by graduation was a well rounded person in his study’s. After medical school his would go home for 6 months and work a general practice to gain experience but he saw that his skills would be better used in Starfleet. When Calden's father heard that his son was going to join Starfleet he lost it and renownd Calden as his son and so Calden joined Starfleet and would live with shame in the eyes of his father for life. |
